Natural Beauty Tips:

MILK
Soak a cotton pad with cool fresh milk and press it gently all over your face. Besides protein to feed your face, it gets rid of dirt thoroughly. Chill a cup of milk in the fridge before pouring the contents into a clothes spray. Use it like a spritzer over inflamed skin.
Warm a bowl of milk in the microwave for half a minute and pour contents into a clothes basin. Soak your feet for half an hour and then give it a good hard brush to remove dead skin.

TURMERIC
Mix two teaspoons of turmeric powder and one teaspoon of honey with just enough warm water to make a thick paste. Spread the mixture all over your face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with water.

SUGAR
For a three-in-one pre-bath treatment; blend two tablespoons of brown sugar with one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and two to three drops of olive oil. Rub the paste over rough areas like the knees and elbows. Citric acid from the lemon unclogs the pores, skin-polishing sugar gets rid of surface dirt and olive oil moisture the skin.

CHERRIES
Run about 10 unripe cherries in a blender. Mix the juice with a tablespoon of dry oatmeal and use as a five-minute facial mask. For the body; mix cherry juice with a tablespoon of sea salt and massage over damp skin.

HONEY
Dilute one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of water then heat it in the microwave for 10 seconds. When it’s cooled, apply on your lips and leave for 10 minutes. To dry out pimples, pour out a teaspoon of honey into a bowl. Dip a cotton bud
into the honey and apply on the spots.

EGGS
For a temporary facelift, use just the eggwhite. Mix it with a tablespoon of honey and spread over face and throat in an upward motion. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Whisk egg yolk with a tablespoon of olive oil and leave on your hair for a few minutes before your shampoo. It makes a great hair conditioner.

PAPAYA
Mash half a ripe papaya with two teaspoons of honey. Apply to areas of face that are prone to wrinkles such as between the brows and along the sides of the nose. Leave on it for 10 minutes.

patties over your eyes and keep them there for 10 minutes.

Pound the kernel and add body lotion to blend into smooth paste. Use it as a gentle exfoliator for face. Note the pip is the rough “seed” and the ivory kernel is what you need when split open the pip.

MAYONNAISE
Massage mayonnaise into your hair after shampoo. Leave it on for a few minutes before rinse off. You can also use mayonnaise as a lip mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes before removing with cold water.

Natural Beauty Tips:

Having beautiful skin, complexion and body involves eating healthy and right food. Some of the best beauty treatment and solutions are simple foods found in our kitchen or grocery stores. These foods are easily available and cheap as you can buy them during your marketing trip. The best about natural foods is that these foods do not contain preservatives, chemicals or irritant fragrances present in many commercial brands products. These natural food can be used for natural remedies and improve our body overall health. These foods also provide a quick beauty fix routine at the comfort
of your home. Simply grab one of these foods from your fridge and start your health and beauty treatment immediately.
*To be on the safe side, it is suggested that you patch test these foods to check for any allergic reaction before spreading them over your face and skin.

FOOD FOR FACE

TEA
Steep a pair of Earl Grey teabags in boiling water, run them under a tap and place over eyes for 10 minutes before night out. Use four bags of chamomile tea. Leave them to steep for 5 minutes then hold your face over the bowl. Freeze cooled chamomile tea in an ice-cube tray. When set, remove cubes and run over your face. Soak some gauze in cooled green tea and apply on skin the way you would a toner.

OLIVE OIL
Heat a cup of olive oil in the microwave for a few seconds. Massage onto dry areas of your skin. Heat enough olive oil to fill half a small clothes basin. Soak your hands in the oil for about 10 minutes, followed by the feet. Use it as a conditioner by leaving warmed olive oil on your hair for 15 minutes before shampoo. Remove all traces of mascara by dipping an overused mascara wand into some olive oil and use it to apply on your lashes the way you would mascara.

CUCUMBER
Chop up a cucumber and drizzle a few drops of lemon juice in the mixture. Apply on your face. Soothe tired eyes by cutting two rounds and place them on the eyelids. Rub down hot skin with a mixture of chopped cucumber, olive oil and plain yoghurt.

LEMON
For sparkling teeth, mix one teaspoon of fresh lemon juice with one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and half teaspoon of salt. Use like toothpaste – once a week. Lighten the skin and smoothens rough edges of elbows and knees. Cut a lemon into two halves and rest your elbows in each half for 15 minutes. Or squeeze juice of lemon and apply on your knees.

TOMATO
Peel a tomato and chop it finely before spreading on face. Work as an effective cleanser and gentle astringent to tighten pores.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR SKIN

Believe it or not your skin is the largest organ of your body. It is a living
organ which heals and renews itself constantly. It covers your entire
body and consists of two clearly defined layers:
1. The epidermis is the superficial or outermost layer. In other
words, this is the skin we can see and feel. It forms the
protective covering. This layer contains no blood vessels but
has small nerve endings and is made up of five layers of cells.
The pigment called melanin is found in this layer. Melanin
protects the sensitive cells beneath, from the harmful effects of
the sun. The greater the exposure to sunlight the greater the
production of melanin.
2. The dermis or the inner layer is located just under the
epidermis. This layer is highly sensitive because it contains
nerve endings. It also contains numerous blood vessels, lymph
vessels, sweat glands, sebaceous glands and hair follicles.
These are held together by collagen and elastin fibers, which
together give the skin its strength and resilience.

Each hair follicle has a sebaceous gland, which produces sebum. Excess
sebum makes your skin look and feel oily. If the neck of a sebaceous
gland is clogged, sebum accumulates, giving rise to acne. A deficiency in
the production of sebum produces dry skin.
Your teenage years could be your best time or your worst time
depending on your hormonal activity. Generally, puberty is a bad time for
your skin.
If you are spared the onslaught of acne and pimples usually associated
with the teenage years, then more than likely your 20’s and 30’s should
be trouble free.
During your 20’s your skin should look its best. It can however be
adversely affected by allergies, hormonal imbalances, stress, and
exposure to the elements.
In your 30’s your skin may begin to lose the bloom of youth. You may
begin to see the appearance of dryness and fine lines. The skin tends to
be more sensitive and extra special care is required during this period.
In your 40’s your hormone production slows and the skin begins to lose
tone and elasticity, giving rise to wrinkles, creases and fine lines.
While these changes occur naturally as you age, they can be minimized
and controlled by properly caring for your skin. Cleansing, toning and
moisturizing your skin twice daily can help you rejuvenate and revive
your skin.
Now that you have a better understanding of your skin and how it works,
I am sure you will appreciate that the time to begin your personal skin
care routine is NOW!

Best Ways to Find Discount Beauty Products

Have you ever wondered which beauty products you should splurge on and which ones you should save money on by buying discount beauty product versions of at the drugstore? From Paul Mitchell and Redken to Suave and Cover Girl, there are plenty of ways to get the beauty look and style you want at a lower price. The trick to great beauty product budget balance is to mix and match. Sure, you might want to splurge on some products but not EVERY product. You can get the same results with inexpensive supplies and pay less money getting them!

Use these tips to help yourself figure out what’s worth spending big bucks on and what you can save on to get the same results.
Eye Makeup: Save Your Money On Eyeliner, Spend Your Money On Eye Shadow
Since most of today’s eyeliner pencils are made from nothing but colored wax, it’s not necessary for you to spend $20 on eyeliner from the department store when you can get the same thing for under $5 at your local drugstore. If you prefer liquid eyeliner, you can too get a cheap and effective version anywhere. However, when it comes to eye shadow it’s best to spend a little bit more. Quality means quantity with eye shadow. A more expensive shadow will likely stay on longer and not fade quickly. In addition, most expensive brands offer richer colors. If you still don’t want to buy expensive eye shadow, here’s a quick tip! Simply splurge on a small tube of M.A.C. Paints (which is an eye shadow primer) and use the cheap eye shadow over it. It will help it stay in place for hours and hours and you’ll not need to spend a fortune!
Face Skin Care: Save On Cleansers AND Moisturizers
Sometimes you think to get younger looking skin or clearer skin, you need to buy only the best and most expensive cosmetics brands of cleansers and moisturizers. However, there is no reason to spend a fortune on a great moisturizer or a good cream cleanser. Most dermatologists agree you can get great results with drug store brands. Basically, the job of a cleanser is to remove excess oil and dirt and drugstore brands like Cetaphil and Purpose Gentle can do just that, very effectively. There is no need for the extra ingredients to get the job done! The thing to remember with moisturizers is you’ll need two (one for your body and one for your face). Your face might need an oily formula while you may have dry body skin. There’s no need to spend a bundle on these so you can avoid buying designer brands of lotion. You can get great lotions for both the face and body by trusted brands like Olay at your drugstore retailer.
Hair Care: Save On Shampoo And Condition, Spend Your Cash On Blow dryers And Appliances
Your salon professional might not want you to know this, but there is no reason you need to spend loads of cash on shampoo and conditioner. There are plenty of drugstore brands that can get the job done just as well as the fancy salon finds. In fact, you may even get better results with the wholesale priced drugstore finds. Since brands like Loreal and Pantene sell in bulk and in great quantities to drugstores, they have the means to put billions of dollars into product research and development. So, you might actually be getting higher quality at a much lower price. However, when it comes to blow dryers you may want to splurge a bit. The new ionic dryers can help you not only cut down on your drying time but also cut down on the heat exposure. You can find the best dryers online, at your salon or at your nearby beauty supply outlet.
Miscellaneous Beauty Product Savings: Save On Shaving, Spend On Nails
When it comes to shaving and hair removal, you can certainly save a lot of money by doing it yourself. Sure, it may be quite a pain in the neck but the money you save will let you get a massage to ease the pain! If you hate to shave and prefer waxing, think about using a hair removal cream on your legs and other areas instead. This is a pain-free method you can do yourself at home and the results are fantastic! As far as nails go, save your cash by doing your own at-home manicure and pedicure. However, if you like fake nails be sure to only let professionals do that task. Otherwise you’ll end up loosing press on nails left and right.
